Trigger Fish au Gratin

Trigger Fish au Gratin

Ingredients

8 Trigger fish fillets
Fat for greasing
Salt and pepper
60ml/4 tbsp milk
2 oz (50g) Gruyere cheese, grated
2 cups (4 oz) 120g dry white breadcrumbs
2 tbsp (1oz) 25g butter

Method

  1. Grease an ovenproof baking dish. Set the oven at 190oC/375oF/ gas 5. 
  2. Roll up the fish fillets and place them in the prepared dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and pour over the milk. Mix the cheese, breadcrumbs in a bowl and sprinkle the mixture over the fish.
  3. Dot with butter and bake for 20minutes. Serve at once.
